THE MANOR HOUSE
WANSTEAD HIGH STREET E11 2RL
THURSDAY 27th JUNE
Our Edinburgh Fringe Review Show will feature two performances from two of the most creative, challenging and outright funny comedians in the UK, Chris McGlade and Susan Murray.
The evening will be hosted by the wonderful Graeme Mathews, who returns to Wanstead after reaching the semi finals of
ITV's Britain's Got Talent 2019
From Teeside - Redcar, Chris McGlade performs with unbridled passion. In his Edinburgh show, Chis shares the story of his father's murder in 2011, attempting to lay to rest the ghosts that have since haunted him. Chris' stand up is a million miles away from the PC liberal consensus. His story will be shocking, emotional but also very funny, as he reveals the hypocracy of modern Britain. His 2018 Edinburgh Show, Northern Monkey, received a standing ovation when performed in Wanstead earlier this year.
Fasten your seat belts for a darkly delicious bumpy ride. How Not to Die in a Plane Crash is the antidote to boring, life affirming, feel good motivational comedy. Come and listen to Susan's sweet dark soul as she makes you laughand cry at the same time with her useful death defying survival tips, all wrapped up in fantastic jokes.
'Anyone who loves the work of Sarah Millican and Kerry Godliman will find plenty to enjoy here'
